I'm not a superstar or an expert in anything...I just really really love rugby.

I love it a lot and I've been playing it for a while, so I've had a lot of fun and interesting experiences. I thought it might be fun to share it with the world [...or even just a handful of people]. I was introduced to rugby when I was 10 years old, but it was MEN's rugby. I didn't even realize rugby was an option for women until I got to college in 2008, and the rest has been history.

I have also been an athlete struggling with an eating disorder for over 10 years.

I know I'm not the only one who has been faced with this and I would like to open up the conversation about struggling with an eating disorder. I have tried to cover it up for a long time, and my recovery process has been FAR from linear, but I think there's a lot we can learn from each other. Eating disorders live for secrecy, so the more we can talk about them the more we can dismantle them.

TRUST ME when I say this: you will play your best rugby when you fully fuel your body. End of story.

I'm a pretty lucky person who can say I got to play rugby with my sister!
