Team Dinner Idea: P-I-Z-Z-A

For ordering pizza, in my opinion Domino’s reigns supreme for the best bargain for your buck and most customizable.

🍞 Gluten Free Folks - Domino’s does not prep gluten free pizzas in a separate area, so they do not recommend the gluten free pizza for people with celiac disease. Alfredo sauce is the only topping with gluten

🧀 Dairy Free Folks - there are no dairy free cheese options, however there is an option to remove the cheese entirely from a pizza so you could order it cheese free and get dairy free cheese separately

These numbers are based on a 20-person team dinner!

Domino’s Team Dinner Order

Pros: convenient, relatively easy to order, can order ahead of time, customizable

Cons: gluten free isn't a guarantee, more expensive than homemade

🧀🌿Large Pizza (No Cheese, 1-Topping) - $15

🍞🌿Small Pizza (Gluten Free Crust, Cheese, 1-Topping) - $13

🌿Large Cheese Pizza (x5) - $75 ($15 each)

🌿Large 1-Topping Cheese Pizza (x3) - $52 ($17.25 each)

🧀32-Piece Plain Boneless Chicken - $33

TOTAL (including tax, delivery fee, tip): $249 ($12.45 per person)*

*this price doesn’t include any rewards or coupons that could be applied, and is rounded up

Some other ideas/things to consider…

  • adding even 1 topping to a pizza can increase the whole pizza cost by $2-3, consider getting a pack of pepperonis from the grocery store or quickly chopping up some veggies for a hybrid DIY pizza topping!

  • Gluten free pizzas only come in a size small

DIY Pizza Making Team Dinner Order

Pros: cheaper, not too much prep work or clean up, completely customizable

Cons: takes longer w/ prep and cooking time, quantities are more unsure

Instructions:

  1. Line baking sheets with parchment paper, or grease baking sheets

  2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees* *Crescent roll dough is 375, cauliflower pizza crust is 425, so 400 is the middle number between the two temperatures. Adjust baking times accordingly!

  3. Unroll crescent dough. Leave perforated sides but keep dough connected

  4. Load up the toppings! Dietary Restriction Topping combination ideas: 🧀🌿 - crescent roll dough, vegan shredded cheese, mushrooms, pineapple 🧀🌿 - crescent roll dough, shredded cheese, mushrooms, pineapple 🍞🧀🌿 - cauliflower crust, vegan shredded cheese, mushrooms, pineapple Non-Dietary Restriction: Crispy Hawaiian - bacon, pineapple Meat Lovers - bacon, pepperoni The Works - bacon, pepperoni, mushroom Produce Galore - mushroom, pineapple

  5. Bake 12-15 minutes, but keep an eye since the oven temp is different

NOTE: All quantities are estimates. It is easier to estimate the Domino's order since I've ordered them before, but the grocery list is a little more of a blind estimate. They may need some big adjustments. If you end up trying it out let me know what you think of the ingredient quantities and if they need to be changed!
